Bayliss 30′: Bandit

As the official first hull of Bayliss Boatworks, she's the product of a backyard project that turned into more than was potentially expected.

John Bayliss agreed to build a boat for a friend, and did so in his free time (and in his backyard). Built to fish in South Carolina, she was created to be a bulletproof, wash-and-load weekend sportfishing boat. The goal was to provide a good ride offshore and enough tankage to carry plenty of fuel. Bandit lives in Georgetown and Charleston, South Carolina with her current owner. She still visits our boatyard every year for a fresh coat of bottom paint, and other routine maintenance.
